VFD Control System for DDPM-PCP Motors
Electric Motors account for at least half of the energy consumed today. Selecting the right VFD and control system is imperative for the motor to run most efficiently while maximizing torque and overall performance. DDAC-WO (Workover) is a SOURCE Electric Motor specifically designed as a new-generation drawworks direct-drive solution for workover rigs.
DDPM-DW (Drawworks) directly driven wire drum of the drawworks system, eliminating gearbox, air clutches and other associated accessories. In conjunction with the VFD, the motors operation allows the drawworks system to smoothly achieve self-lifting, lowering, and hoisting with absolute zero slip ratio.

DDAC-MP (Mud Pump) eliminates many of the traditional systems of the intermediate links, such as belts, chains or wire rope and associated gearbox parts. The structure is greatly simplified, so the whole system is more efficient: low energy consumption, high reliability, maintenance free, dynamic torque output, lower disciples (no more than 95dB), etc.
DDPM-TD (Top Drive)
DDPM-TD (Top Drive) incorporates an electromagnetic design, compact structure, unique cooling system and winding insulation, providing the optimal solution for harsh working environments. The complete drilling motor direct drive spindle rotation, cancels out the gear reducer structure, effectively reducing the failure rate and maintenance costs.
DDPM-MP (Mud Pump)
DDPM-MP (Mud Pump) directly driven mud pump’s pinion ends and customize-fit installation eliminates the belts, pulleys, fender, and other associated accessories.
DDPM-WO (Workover) has low speed, high torque characteristics, allowing the workover rig to eliminate the angled gear box, and other associated accessories. This directly driven drawworks provides a substantial increase in transmission efficiency, improved lifting capacity, equipment reliability and improved vehicle off-road performance.
DDAC-TD (Top Drive)
The SOURCE Electric Motor has successfully applied DDAC-TD (Top Drive) to the oil drilling rig industry. DDAC-TD (Top Drive) includes the body shell, stator, rotor, main shaft, etc.
DDPM-PCP (Progressing Cavity Pump)
DDPM-PCP (Progressing Cavity Pump) is an innovative, safe, and reliable custom-designed top drive head. The DDPM-PCP eliminates belts, pulleys, gear reducers and is installed to directly drive the polish rod of the PC Pump. This will in turn reduce failure rates and maintenance costs. The DDPM-PCP can run under extremely low speed range (0.6 - 500rpm) while directly outputting enough torque required by the downhole PC Pump. This will greatly improve efficiency, stability, and safety while reducing noise and footprint.
