SSPM (Self-Start Permanent Magnet Motor)
Product Introduction
SSPM, (Self Start Permanent Magnet) motors are high efficiency energy saving products. The SSPM has greater starting torque, higher efficiency, higher power factor, smaller footprint, lightweight and obvious power saving effects over induction motors.
• SSPM Motors use the same proven technology as YULIN Motor’s DDPM series, with ultra-high startup torque capability, (up to 2.8 times motor rated torque), enabling customers to reduce their motor horsepower size.
• SSPM Motors, with their unique asynchronous start-up and synchronous operation design, allow SSPM motors to operate without a soft start, or VSD, providing significant savings on initial investment.
• SSPM Motors allow customers to save on electricity cost due to their higher efficiency and power factor even at low loads.
• SSPM Motors allow customers to increase the number of assets in an area where the power grid is limited in capacity.
• SSPM Motors are available in both NEMA and IEC designs and have the same motor mounting dimensions as the original induction motors, ensuring easy replacement of existing equipment.
